Oral Presentations
Speakers will each be allocated 15-minute time slots in the program streams along with other speakers in the session. This will include 12 minutes for the presentation and 3 minutes for questions. The oral presentation format provides the opportunity to share current research, projects, programs and case reviews in some detail to a broad but more interactive audience. These sessions will be facilitated.
6 in 6
Speakers will each have a maximum of 6 minutes to present their topic with a limit of slides only. This allows all speakers to present their paper to the larger plenary audience in what is a fast-moving and exciting conference format for speakers and the audience. This format is suited to new and smaller programs and projects and new research. There will be time at the conclusion of the session for audience Q&A. These sessions will be facilitated.
Pre-conference workshops
Presenters will be allocated up to 120 minutes on the Thursday afternoon, just prior to the conference. We encourage workshops that have an interactive, practical and creative focus. Abstracts should briefly outline the format and intended learning outcomes.
THEMES
The scope of the Conference is deliberately broad and the list of potential themes is provided to illustrate some of the areas that abstracts can address.
- Medical culture
- Innovation and new models of care
- Digital health, technology and AI
- Prevention and early intervention
- Collaboration and new frontiers
- Regional, rural and remote
- Career transitions
- Design of workplaces and work practices
